| A blow-down in 1999 damaged the forest so severely that it was classified as non-forest. To restore watershed conditions, the area must be reforested. The Superior National Forest, Topaz Salvage project, will hand-plant 21 acres of site-prepped land with 14,000 seedlings with the support of American Forests. For every Energy Star qualified Scotsman Ice Machine purchased from our local delaers we will donate trees to benefit the ReLeafing of the Forest.. | ||
